1. Mathematics (Code: 041)
The syllabus emphasizes logical thinking and real-world problem solving across 7 major units.

2. Science (Code: 086) – New Book: Curiosity
The updated syllabus contains 13 chapters integrated into Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Biology: Cell structure, health and disease prevention, microorganisms, and ecosystem balance.

Chemistry: Particulate nature of matter, elements, compounds, mixtures, and the world of solutions.

Physics: Forces and pressure, friction, sound, electricity (magnetic/heating effects), and light (mirrors/lenses).

Earth Science: Natural phenomena like lightning/cyclones and astronomical phenomena.
3. Social Science (Code: 087)
The subject is now streamlined into a single comprehensive theme, covering History, Geography, and Civics.

History (Our Pasts - III): Colonialism, the revolt of 1857, and the making of the National Movement (1870s-1947).

Geography (Resource & Development): Land, soil, water resources, agriculture, industries, and human resources.

Civics (Social & Political Life): The Indian Constitution, parliamentary government, and social justice for the marginalised.
4. English – New Book: Poorvi
The curriculum aims to enhance communication through five thematic units.

Literature: Themes include "Wit and Wisdom," "Environment" (The Cherry Tree), and "Science and Curiosity".
