Free JEE Main Mock Test 2026 in CBT Mode — Previous Year Papers, Chapter-wise & Sectional Tests | Scholar's Mate Bhagalpur

Introduction

Every JEE Main 2026 aspirant knows they need to practice. But most students practice in the wrong way — solving problems on paper, reading solutions from books, and studying chapters without ever experiencing what the actual JEE Main examination feels like.

The result is predictable. A student who has studied hard for months walks into the JEE Main exam centre, sits in front of a computer, and realises — they have never once practiced on a CBT interface. The question palette confuses them. The timer creates panic. The numerical input system for Section B takes precious minutes to figure out. And marks are lost — not because the student did not know the answers, but because they were not prepared for the format.

Scholar's Mate Bhagalpur has solved this problem — completely and for free.

What is Scholar's Mate Bhagalpur's Free JEE Main Mock Test?

Scholar's Mate Bhagalpur's Free JEE Main Mock Test platform is a complete, online CBT-mode testing system built specifically for JEE Main 2026 aspirants. It is not a PDF download. It is not a simple quiz. It is a full computer-based testing environment that replicates the exact National Testing Agency JEE Main interface — the same question palette, the same section navigation, the same timer, the same numerical input system, and the same marking scheme.

The platform gives every student — regardless of whether they are enrolled at Scholar's Mate or studying elsewhere — free access to full-length mock tests, ten years of previous year papers in CBT format, over 300 chapter-wise tests covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and subject-specific sectional tests for focused practice.

The goal is simple. When a Scholar's Mate student walks into the JEE Main 2026 exam hall, the computer screen in front of them should feel like home — because they have already sat in front of it dozens of times.

Why CBT Mode Practice is Non-Negotiable for JEE Main 2026

JEE Main has been conducted exclusively in Computer Based Test mode since 2019. There is no pen-and-paper option. Yet the vast majority of JEE preparation material — books, coaching notes, practice papers — is still paper-based. This creates a dangerous gap between how students practice and how they are actually examined.

The CBT interface introduces several elements that paper-based practice simply cannot prepare you for.

The question palette on the right side of the screen shows every question in colour-coded status — green for answered, red for not answered, purple for marked for review, and purple with a green dot for answered and marked for review. A student who sees this palette for the first time on exam day will spend time figuring out what each colour means. A student who has practiced on our platform will use the palette instinctively to manage their time and review strategy.

Section navigation allows switching between Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at any point during the exam. Most students do not realise they can leave a Physics question mid-section, switch to Chemistry, attempt easier questions there, and come back. This strategy — which can save 15 to 20 minutes — is only discovered through CBT practice.

The numerical answer type questions in Section B require typing the answer using an on-screen keypad. There are no options to choose from. There is no negative marking. These questions reward students who have practiced answering without the safety net of options — a skill that only develops through repeated CBT practice.

The countdown timer at the top right corner behaves differently from a physical watch. Many students find that seeing a digital countdown creates more time pressure than they expected. Practicing with the timer repeatedly builds the psychological adaptation needed to stay calm and focused as time reduces.

What is Included — Complete Feature Breakdown

Full-Length JEE Main Mock Tests in CBT Mode

The full-length mock tests on our platform follow the exact JEE Main 2026 pattern without any modification. Every element of the real exam is replicated precisely.

The test contains 90 questions divided equally across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics — 30 questions per subject. Each subject is split into Section A with 20 single-correct MCQ questions carrying plus 4 marks for correct and minus 1 for incorrect, and Section B with 10 numerical answer type questions out of which any 5 must be attempted, carrying plus 4 marks each with no negative marking. The total attempted questions are 75 and total marks are 300. The duration is exactly 3 hours with a real-time countdown.

After completing the test, students receive their total score, subject-wise score breakdown, number of correct answers, incorrect answers, and unattempted questions, estimated All India percentile, time spent per question, and a complete question-wise solution review.
