📋 Role Overview

Scholar's Mate Bhagalpur is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused Biology Faculty to teach students from Class 6th to 10th across both CBSE and ICSE boards. The ideal candidate will have a strong command over Life Sciences and the ability to make Biology exciting, visual, and deeply understandable for pre-foundation students — building the academic base that eventually leads them to crack NEET and excel in board examinations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology (Botany & Zoology) to Classes 6 to 10 across CBSE and ICSE syllabi with conceptual depth and exam-focus
• Deliver engaging lessons through both online and offline modes as required by the schedule
• Simplify complex biological concepts — cell biology, genetics, human physiology, plant physiology, ecology — making them accessible and exciting for pre-foundation students
• Prepare students for NTSE, Science Olympiads, and NEET foundation milestones alongside regular board preparation
• Design and deliver chapter-wise tests, assignments, and DPP (Daily Practice Problems) aligned with CBSE and ICSE board patterns
• Monitor individual student progress, identify weak areas, and provide constructive, personalised feedback
• Maintain detailed student performance records and share regular updates with academic coordinators and parents during PTM
• Conduct doubt clearing sessions to ensure no student is left behind before exams
• Keep lessons interactive using diagrams, models, real-world examples, and digital tools to maximise student engagement and retention
• Stay updated with the latest CBSE and ICSE Biology syllabus changes and incorporate them immediately into teaching

🔍 What We Are Looking For

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biology, Zoology, Botany, or Life Sciences | B.Ed. preferred but not mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching Biology at the school or pre-foundation coaching level
• Board Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of both CBSE and ICSE Biology syllabus for Class 6 to 10
• Subject Expertise: Exceptionally strong conceptual knowledge in Botany, Zoology, Human Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Ecology, and Microbiology
• Skills: Excellent classroom management, clear communication, and the ability to explain complex topics in simple, memorable ways
• Diagram Proficiency: Ability to draw and explain biological diagrams accurately — nephron, heart, brain, cell, digestive system, reproductive system, and more
• Mindset: A genuine passion for Biology and a deep commitment to the long-term academic success of every student
• Bonus: Prior experience preparing students for Science Olympiads, NTSE, or NEET foundation is a strong advantage
